On March 9, the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art opened the new spring season with four shows: the inaugural Triennial of Russian Contemporary Art, the Tail Wags the Comet installation by Moscow-based artist Irina Korina, your age and my age and the age of the rainbow project by the Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone which will be his first project in Russia, and Toward the Source archival show.
The Spring Season Official Opening celebrations kicked off with over 1,000 guests in attendance, including over 100 who had traveled internationally to be present. The audience was filled with art world visionaries and tastemakers including the Garage Advisory Board Members, artists, curators, collectors, gallerists, art critics, patrons and GARAGE membership program members.
Museum Co-founders Dasha Zhukova and Roman Abramovich welcomed a crowd of art world a-listers, including Hans Ulrich Obrist, Beatrix Ruf, Boris Groys, Ugo Rondinone, Sadie Coles, Eva Presenhuber to name a few.
The much talked about Triennial, which has a separate website, takes place from March 10 to May 14, 2017 in the Museum and the surrounding area of Gorky Park. More than 60 artists from across the country are participating in the exhibition, and you can find a list of them below.

Garage Museum of Contemporary Art is a place for people, art, and ideas to create history.
