The Affordable Art Fair has released the exhibitor list for its 2018 New York fair and Art Zealous has the exclusive first look!
The Affordable Art Fair NYC will return to the Metropolitan Pavilion to kick off the fair’s spring 2018 edition from March 22 through March 25, with its signature Private View opening event on March 21 from 6pm-9pm. The list of exhibitors includes more than 70 local, national and international galleries who will showcase artworks from more than 300 emerging, mid-career and established artists. With two fair editions held annually, Affordable Art Fair NYC offers visitors the opportunity to browse original contemporary paintings, sculptures, photographs and prints ranging from $100 to $10,000.
The exhibitor list includes 13 international galleries from countries like Thailand, Australia, Argentina, and the US, with nearly one-quarter hailing from the Big Apple. The fair will welcome back veterans such as Art Angler (New York, NY), DECORAZONgallery (Dallas, TX & London, United Kingdom), EYE BUY ART (Toronto, Canada), Eyestorm (London, United Kingdom), La Lanta Fine Art (Bangkok, Thailand), Lilac Gallery (New York, NY), Manifold Editions (London, United Kingdom), and PUBLIC HOUSE OF ART (Amsterdam, The Netherlands).
“Our strong community of international galleries continues to grow and, as we celebrate our 25th fair edition this spring, our visitors can look forward to a diverse range of fresh artists and artworks to suit every taste,” says Cristina Salmastrelli, Director of the spring edition of Affordable Art Fair NYC. “With a primary goal being to continue to educate our patrons, we mine through hundreds of applications, aiming to choose galleries we believe exhibit a solid market range. This way, we can successfully expose visitors to the current, relevant and ever-changing art market of today.”
