The Bronx Museum of the Arts is set to shut down the center lanes of the Grand Concourse—from 162nd Street to 170th Street for their Boogie on the Boulevard, a music, arts, and fitness festival to promote change and community building in the Bronx this Sunday, August 26, 2018.

From 2 – 6 PM, Boogie on the Boulevard performances and activities will take place throughout the Grand Concourse. Each “Boogie block” is an innovative and immersive environment that encourages healthy activities, education and positive engagement. This year’s festivities include rock climbing, obstacle course, roller skating, aerial performers, and a circus.

Boogie on the Boulevard is one of the museum’s three core public programs that take an integrative approach to community building. Boogie on the Boulevard provides a positive public environment where communities can connect, learn, and experience vibrant programming.

So if you are looking for something to do this Sunday, we suggest heading uptown and getting your boogie on. Just make sure RSVP through Eventbrite.
