Last week, Thursday, March 7th, art enthusiasts and supporters made their way through the cold during Armory week for the opening of Disparity, a two-person show of paintings by Jeff Chester and Joshua Avery Webster at Voltz Clarke Gallery. The show debuted Jeff Chester as a new addition to the gallery roster and his work was a perfect pairing for work by veteran gallery artist Joshua Avery Webster. Chester focuses on portraiture while Webster concentrates on color and line. The combination on contemporary portraiture and vibrant abstracts created a compelling atmosphere for the opening night.

Guests included Jack and Rachel Oliver, Francesca Stratton, Cal and Ivey Evans, Kristen Edwards, Blakely Griggs, Alexandra Amorosi, Shannon Henderson.
