Hampton Art Fairs
This week both Market Art & Design Hamptons and Art Southhampton Fair will be opening their doors to the public once again. Whether you are a Hamptons regular, or just looking to get away for the weekend, the fairs are the perfect place to see some of the best contemporary art and design pieces.

Gallery Opening: Art By the Inch
Con Artist Collective will be partnering up with Art by the Inch to examine the human desire to quantify things by measurement. The show will feature two large collaborative murals by members of the collective, the best part? If you see a portion of the mural you like, you can purchase it by the inch!

Party: MET Young Members Party
This week the Met will be hosting their annual Young Members Party, in which all members of the Met between 21 and 35 are invited to party down with the exhibits at the Met. Guests will be privy to private exhibition viewings as well as an open bar, hors d’oeuvres and music by Phony Ppl.

Gallery Opening: Haptic
“Haptic: of or relating to the sense of touch” Alexander Gray Associates will be opening their new show this week which will feature works in all types of medias including ceramic, textile and video art. The show will include work by Polly Apfelbaum, Amy Besson, Melvin Edwards and many more. The artists will expand and question traditional craft practices with contemporary art.
