The art world has officially descended upon the city of Basel in Switzerland this week for another year of Art Basel and its surrounding satellite fairs. Thousands of people flock to see the latest artworks by their favorite artists and let’s face it, for that coveted instagram shot. Move over #artselfies, there’s a new pose in town, the back. “Make sure you get my whole outfit and that I’m centered,” was a phrase we heard all week, but to our surprise people weren’t looking at the camera, but had indeed turned around!
