Last night, May 1, 2018, Frieze Week unofficially kicked off with two major art parties. First up, Rental Gallery and Adam Cohen celebrated Brooklyn-based artist Oliver Clegg’s first solo exhibition in NYC with a dinner downtown at Fat Radish. The exhibition, Euclid’s Porsche, curated by Adam Cohen, is comprised of nearly 150 paintings of Happy Meal Toys sourced from eBay seller photographs found online. The show is presented by Joel Mesler-run Rental Gallery, one of our favorite galleries based out in the Hamptons, and is on view on the ground floor of Metal Shutter Houses Project in Chelsea. young art collectors
