June 8th

Johannes Vogt will be exhibiting their new solo show featuring the work of Ricardo Alcaide entitled Down the Line. The Venezuelan artist will be debuting his site-specific floor show, which will examine the instability of Latin American Urban areas do to modernization.
Johannes Vogt is located at 55 Chrystie St, Suite 202.
June 9th

As Lyles and King begins its second year, it will be keeping up its winning streak by exhibiting a solo show with Rose Kallal, Four Collums. The visual and sound artist will be showing a selection of her 16mm films as well as paintings, and sculptures. The opening reception is from 6-8pm.
The Gallery will also be hosting a live performance Friday June 24th at 7:30pm with Rose Kallal, Robery AA Lowe, and Mark Beasley.

June 16th

AFA will be debuting new work by the surrealist artist Tim Cantor in their new exhibit, Sweet Favour and Fiend. The show will feature 5 new pieces by Cantor as well as 15 limited edition prints by the well known artist.
Opening Reception attended by the artist: June 16th 6-8. The gallery asks for your RSVP.
The gallery will also be hosting a book signing June 18 12-2pm

Cheim and Read will be exhibiting the long awaited sequel to The Female Gaze, The Female Gaze Part Two: Women Look at Men, curated by John Cheim. The show will feature thirty-two female artists, each with a unique artistic perspective on how they look at men.
