If you’re looking to add to your art collection, then this event is for you! The Institute of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (ICA LA) announced the return of INCOGNITO happening on September 8, 2018 at the museum’s downtown L.A location.

Let’s break down why this is such a great opportunity for burgeoning and serious art collectors alike. Hundreds of established and emerging contemporary artists will contribute original works in 12 x 12 inch format all priced at $500. Yes, you read that correctly. The 400 pieces will be displayed all together in the museum’s main gallery. Here’s the catch -the artist’s identities will be revealed only after purchase. Brilliant right?

“The diversity and range of artists involved make INCOGNITO a truly special event. It’s a chance to own a great work of art at a wonderful price. You must trust your instinct! And you must wear your running shoes!” said INCOGNITO 2018 host committee member V. Joy Simmons.

You can expect to see works by Rafa Esparza, Simone Forti, Sharon Lockhart, Patrick Martinez, Catherine Opie, Lari Pittman, William Pope.L, Gala Porras-Kim, Vanessa Prager, Barbara T. Smith, B. Wurtz, and Bari Ziperstein.

All proceeds benefit ICA LA’s roster of community programs and exhibitions, all of which are free to the public. Tickets start at $200 and can be purchased here.
