Last night, The Brooklyn Museum hosted its sixth annual Brooklyn Artists Ball in honor of art-world influencers, Stephanie and Tim Ingrassia. The evening kicked off with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and was followed by a seated dinner and dance party. Those in attendance were the first to experience the museum’s newly renovated collections galleries as well as a new installation by celebrated artist Tom Sachs, Tom Sachs: Boombox Retrospective, 1999-2016.
After dinner, guests move to the Glass Pavilion for a dance party DJ’d by Brooklyn Museum trustee, Swizz Beatz. The crowd partied until the wee hours as guests sipped on an open bar of wine and beer. Our feet still hurt from all the dancing.
