Frieze New York

Location: Randall’s Island Park
The lowdown: Situated in a bespoke venue overlooking the East River, this year’s edition of Frieze New York will feature more than 200 galleries from 30 countries, site-specific artist commissions, curated sections, and a program of discussions and lectures.
TEFAF New York Spring

Location: Park Avenue Armory
The lowdown: This year, TEFAF (The European Fine Art Fair) Maastricht and Spring Masters have merged to form the inaugural TEFAF New York Spring. Over 90 galleries are set to participate, showcasing art and design from the 20th century through today.
1:54 Contemporary African Art Fair

Location: Pioneer Works in Redhook, Brooklyn
The lowdown: In its third New York edition, 1:54 has brought together 19 galleries hailing from Angola, Cote d’Ivoire, France, Ghana, Italy, Kenya, Morocco, the UK, the US and South Africa. The work of more than 60 contemporary African artists will be on view.
Art New York

The lowdown: Presented by Art Miami, this will be Art New York’s third year.
CONTEXT New York

Location: Pier 94
The lowdown: The younger sister fair of Art New York, CONTEXT celebrates its second anniversary in 2017. Collectively, the two fairs will showcase work from over 150 galleries representing nearly 1,200 artists from 50 countries.
Collective Design Fair

Location: Skylight Clarkson Square
The lowdown: In its fifth edition, this interdisciplinary fair will showcase masterworks of 20th and 21st-century design as well as experimental works from emerging talents.
SPRING/BREAK BKLYN IMMERSIVE

Location: CITY POINT, Downtown Brooklyn
The lowdown: This new initiative by the folks behind SPRING/BREAK is a curated exhibition that will feature site-specific, immersive installations and environments by a dozen different artists.
