Saturday night, the latest-and-greatest in underground parties launched at Alphaville in Bushwick. Featuring local talent and hosted at local hot-spots, .WAVCAVE, founded by best friends and creative team Jenny Palumbo and Meagan Rodriguez , is an all-inclusive monthly party rooted in the philosophy of inclusion. It’s all about creating and spreading good vibes. Take a look at why we’ll be watching for future parties by .WAVCAVE.

Influenced by the queer dance party scene in London, Jenny Palumbo has been incubating her own event ideas for years. After Meagan Rodriguez established herself as a DJ, their artistic love-child began to take form. With a common goal of building a non-politicized environment as an alternative to the often-exclusive NYC party scene, Palumbo and Rodriguez’s collaboration exemplifies knowing what you want out of an evening of fun and making it happen.

For .WAVCAVE, local talent doesn’t stop with music. Visual artist Angela Juarez projected her work in real-time in the dance space. Categorized by the ladies of .WAVCAVE as “vibe-inducing”, Juarez’s work perfectly complements the in-your-body experience .WAVCAVE provides.

With a powerhouse all-female team comprised of Palumbo, Rodriguez, Juarez and DJ HAYZL, .WAVCAVE stayed true to their promise of bringing good vibes to the masses during their first party. Stay tuned on social media to see what .WAVCAVE will be bringing to the table next month!
