With temperatures hitting unbearably high numbers, this past week showed that the best way to beat the heat is to step inside a chilled museum or two. This crop of art Instagrams is full of bright, punchy colors that epitomize the beauty summer has to offer (since summer is bae, even when it’s a sauna outside). From a pup to a pool of sprinkles, these photos show that nothing is off limits when it comes to the perfectly composed art Instagram.

1. Sprinkles for everyone! Not quite. @itsmagicm captured this fun shot at the currently sold-out Museum of Ice Cream.

2. Who knew #staircasegoals were a thing? @stinerus proves the hashtag’s existence by sharing this beautiful shot from the National Gallery of Denmark.

3. This whimsical image is as decadent as it is mysterious, and it was captured this weekend by @kereback at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

4. Taken at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, it’s as if the image were a visual translation of the photographer’s username, @lawst_in_space.

5. Because the best type of dog is the art-loving kind, right? This nicely juxtaposed shot of @mcabbs was snapped at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco.
