This year’s American Friends of the Louvre Young Patrons Circle Gala will celebrate Johannes Vermeer’s masterpiece The Astronomer. This exquisite work is part of the Louvre’s current exhibition Vermeer and the Masters of Genre Painting, which will travel to the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. this fall.
