On November 2, 2016, SculptureCenter hosted its 2016 Annual Benefit Gala at the historic Rainbow Room in Rockefeller Plaza in support of its exhibitions and programs. The evening honored Isa Genzken for her contribution to contemporary art, particularly for her spectacular breadth of achievement within the field of sculpture.

The evening included the launch of new limited editions by Elizabeth Jaeger and Sanya Kantarovsky, beats by TYGAPAW, dinner, cocktails and a presentation to Genzken by Benjamin H.D. Buchloh.

Guests included Carol Bove, Paula Cooper, Madeline Hollander, Hanna Liden, Christopher Lew, Nate Lowman, Aki Sasamoto, Amy Sillman, Diane Solomon, Robert Soros, Mika Tajima, Rachel Uffner and recent winner of the 2016 Hugo Boss Prize, Anicka Yi.
