Jasmina Danowski’s Living the Dream at the Pierre Hotel

Living the Dream, Brooklyn-based painter Jasmina Danowski’s second installation in the Two E Lounge, features recent works on paper, canvas, and panel that showcase the marriage of organic abstract form, vibrant color, and lively composition that has become her signature. The works, created independently but selected to harmonize with each other and with the architecture, are like sparkling cocktails for the eye, both echoing and amplifying the celebratory atmosphere of the room.  The pulsing movement she coaxes from the interplay of space, form, and color animates the room like pleasant bursts of laughter.
