"Because I Saw a Mountain" Group Show
“BECAUSE I SAW A MOUNTAIN”: GROUP ART SHOW BY ARTISTS & FLEAS
“Because I Saw a Mountain” is an immersive group art show including ceramics, textiles, photographs, sculptures, paintings, sound, and performance featuring ten New York-based artists. The exhibit will examine the dichotomy of our grounded place on Earth, but gazing ever upward toward the sky. To be human is to be limited, tethered, earthbound. We wonder at the universe, its complexity, and beauty, we stand in awe at its vastness. We are only human but we are this too. We are made of mud and muck and stardust.
