Apostasy II

The second show in a series of exhibitions, Apostasy II aims at escaping the walls of the old Chelsea townhouse venue that with its private Salons showcased artworks with the same rigor as throwing decadent parties for its openings. Taking place across different venues in NYC, Aris Minaretzis, Jean-Pierre Villafañe, Nana Wolke and Maximilian Weber play on the relations between their distinct artistic practices, and the spaces in which they inhabit. Combining fashion and fine art, this event will expand inaugural Apostasy’s interdisciplinary mission, engaging fashion as installation and building on the idea of fashionable in the context of fine art.
