“Not the Sum” Art Opening Party at Joseph Gross Gallery

On Thursday night, the Joseph Gross Gallery in Chelsea opened its fall season with “Not the sum of its parts, just the parts” organized by guest curator, Casey Gleghorn of Booth Gallery.
The two person show is essentially two solo exhibitions, with artists Jesse Draxler and Chad Wys working independently without communication for one unified show. Guests including designer Sue Waller, gallerist Vincent Harrison, and artist Joseph Grazi, mingled around Wys’ colorful sculptures and contemplated Draxler’s large scale monochrome works.
