Attention Hamptons art aficionados! The\u00a0fifth\u00a0edition of\u00a0Art Southampton<\/a>,<\/strong>\u00a0the premier modern, contemporary and design fair in the Hamptons, will return to the grounds of Nova\u2019s Ark Project (60 Millstone Rd, Bridgehampton, NY) this upcoming weekend, July 7th<\/sup>\u00a0to 11th<\/sup>. Presented by\u00a0Art Miami,\u00a0the annual fair will feature over 70 prominent international galleries and showcase tens of millions of dollars\u2019 worth of the finest museum quality art, sculpture, and photography from the 20th<\/sup>\u00a0and 21st<\/sup>\u00a0centuries.\u00a0The fair also will highlight some of the East End’s most prolific past and present artists.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The excitement begins on Thursday<\/span> evening with\u00a0a VIP Preview to benefit the Parrish Art Museum <\/a>and Southampton Hospital, sponsored by Christie’s International Real Estate. This exclusive event will provide prominent collectors, curators, art advisors,\u00a0architects, designers, and\u00a0decorators the opportunity to acquire the finest blue chip modern and contemporary works of art from the Post-War and Pop eras, with a focus on design and\u00a0functional art. During the opening night preview, Academy Award winner and acclaimed artist\u00a0Adrien Brody\u00a0<\/strong>will present his second series entitled\u00a0Hooked,\u00a0<\/em>featuring colorful, vibrant fish, and the exhibit encourages viewers to find the light in the darkness.<\/p>\n

In addition,\u00a0Shark Tank<\/em>\u00a0host\u00a0Kevin O\u2019Leary\u00a0will be on hand to discuss his contemporary photography exhibition\u00a0Irreconcilable Images,<\/em>\u00a0presented by\u00a0Gallery Valentine. Sales of O\u2019Leary\u2019s photographs in the curated installation will benefit the Perry J. Cohen Foundation and aspiring Teenage Entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n

Friday<\/span> evening, New York Academy of Art\u2019s\u00a0President\u00a0David Kratz\u00a0and\u00a0Brooke Shields\u00a0will co-curate the exhibition\u00a0Call of the Wild<\/em>. Together they will host a special cocktail reception and discuss the alumni\u2019s paintings, prints, and sculptures themed around the animal kingdom and the natural world.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0One Art Nation<\/a> Symposium\u00a0will bring together leading advisors, dealers, curators, critics, and artists, including Bruce Helander, Louis Meisel of Louis K. Meisel Gallery, Nico Kos Earle, Phillip Klein of Deloittte\u2019s Art & Finance, Stephen Schindler and Katherine Wilson-Milne of Schindler Cohen & Hochman LLP to speak on a range of topics including how to build, maintain and protect one\u2019s collection. Talks are complimentary with fair admission and run on Friday<\/span>, Saturday,<\/span> and Sunday<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Award winning\u00a0<\/strong>LaGuardia Design<\/a>,\u00a0<\/strong>in partnership with\u00a0Marder\u2019s<\/a>,\u00a0will design the Art Southampton Sculpture Garden and main entrance of the pavilion. LaGuardia Design actively pursues an interest in how elements of the native landscape, existing topography, and neighboring influences help define the character of each site and look to unify the landscape into a cohesive bond by firmly connecting architecture and site.<\/p>\n
