On Monday, November 18th, 2019 the\u00a025th annual ARTWALK NY <\/a>took place at Spring Studios<\/a> to benefit the\u00a0Coalition for the Homeless<\/a>.\u00a0The evening celebrated the role of \u201cartist-as-activist\u201d\u00a0in an effort to\u00a0raise\u00a0awareness about the issues of homelessness, poverty and social\u00a0injustice.\u00a0Presented by Italian fashion house\u00a0Max Mara<\/a>, the\u00a0evening honored the artistic achievements of\u00a0Katherine Bernhardt, philanthropic support of\u00a0Michael Platt\u00a0and\u00a0chaired by\u00a0Maria Giulia Maramotti.\u00a0The event was marked by one of the strongest attendances ever, with over\u00a0700 guests\u00a0coming together to support the Coalition for the Homeless in their ongoing fight for proven, humane and cost-effective solutions to mass homelessness.
