Last week on February 27, 2019, Baxter St at the Camera Club of New York<\/a> celebrated its second-annual STAND WITH US BeneF\u00eate. The evening is devoted to supporting Baxter St\u2019s yearly initiatives that support and activate the community of lens-based contemporary artists. The evening honored philanthropist Sarah Arison, and artists Jesse Chun, and Jos\u00e9 Parl\u00e1, and former Baxter St President Allen Frame.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The event welcomed over 300 guests to the historic\u00a0Angel Orensanz Foundation<\/a> which was\u00a0decorated in 90s theme surrounded by NYC street-inspired d\u00e9cor complete with a hot dog cart, hot pretzels, a caricature artist, as well as a Baxter St Bodega where guests purchased $10 scratch-offs to win a limited edition prints by artists like Matthew Leifheit, Hannah Whitaker, Matthew Porter and others.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
