The evening is devoted to supporting Baxter St\u2019s yearly initiatives that support and activate the community of lens-based contemporary artists. The evening honored philanthropist Sarah Arison, and artists Jesse Chun, and Jos\u00e9 Parl\u00e1, and former Baxter St President Allen Frame.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The event welcomed over 300 guests to the historic\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.orensanzevents.com\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Angel Orensanz Foundation<\/a> which was\u00a0decorated in 90s theme surrounded by NYC street-inspired d\u00e9cor complete with a hot dog cart, hot pretzels, a caricature artist, as well as a Baxter St Bodega where guests purchased $10 scratch-offs to win a limited edition prints by artists like Matthew Leifheit, Hannah Whitaker, Matthew Porter and others.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_32203\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-32203\" style=\"width: 664px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-32203\" src=\"http:\/\/artzealous.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Libby-Pratt-Michi-Jigarjian-e1551732660296.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"664\" height=\"996\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-32203\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"color: #999999;\">Libby Pratt, Michi Jigarjian<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The evening continued with music by legendary DJs Stretch Armstrong and Bobbito and dance performances by Shari Loeffler,\u00a0THECouncil featuring SHE and YoE and Menahan Street Band featuring Black Thought, which brought everyone to the dance floor and left guests hungry for the Joe\u2019s Pizza Delivery. Guests included Zoe Buckman, Brian Donnelly (KAWS), O.T. Fagbenle, Casey Fremont, Michelle Hellman, Bobbito Garcia, Rashid Johnson, Justine Kurland, Shari Loeffler, Anne Pasternak, Black Thought, Marlies Verhoeven, Jasmine Wahi, and Tiana Webb Evans.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_32202\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-32202\" style=\"width: 667px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-32202\" src=\"http:\/\/artzealous.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/SHE-YoE-1-e1551732735543.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"667\" height=\"1001\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-32202\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"color: #999999;\">SHE, YoE<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Proceeds from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baxterst.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Baxter St\u2019s<\/a> annual STAND WITH US event go towards supporting the non-profit organization\u2019s yearly initiatives.
