Last night, October 10, 2018, the 27th annual\u00a0Take Home a Nude<\/a>\u00ae art party + auction to benefit the\u00a0New York<\/a>\u00a0Academy of Art was held at Sotheby\u2019s in New York. The evening honored not one, but 11 individuals who have inspired great artists and artworks, from Jerry Hall (muse to Lucian Freud, Francesco Clemente, Andy Warhol, Ed Ruscha and Antonio Lopez) and Helena Christensen (muse to Herb Ritts) to Brooke Shields (muse to Richard Avedon, Eric Fischl and Keith Haring), David Croland (muse of Robert Mapplethorpe), Racquel Chevremont (muse to Mickalene Thomas), Rose Dergan (muse to Will Cotton), Zoya Loeb (muse to Damian Loeb) and Anh Duong (her own muse).<\/span><\/p>\n

Guests were greeted with bites by\u00a0Sant Ambroeus<\/a>, a fantastic bar featuring\u00a0Champagne Bollinger<\/a>,\u00a0Ozymandias Wines<\/a>,\u00a0PROXIMO Spirits<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0VOSS Water<\/a>. The evening raised over $900,000 through the silent and live auction featuring works from\u00a0Judy Chicago, Jessica Craig-Martin, Anh Duong, Eric Fischl, Jan Frank, Hugo Guinness and Damian Loeb.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
