This past Saturday, June 23, 2018,\u00a0Storm King Art Center<\/a> hosted its annual Summer Solstice Celebration. Guests were greeted with libations by Brooklyn Brewery, Tuthilltown Spirits, and Hudson Whiskey. After cocktails and an exclusive viewing of the 2018 exhibitions, Indicators: Artists on Climate Change <\/em><\/a>and\u00a0Outlooks: Elaine Cameron-Weir<\/a>, <\/em>partygoers made their way to their seats for a gourmet farm-to-table dinner in the fields by Michael Anthony, Executive Chef and Partner of Gramercy Tavern<\/a>.\u00a0Chef Anthony collaborated with Chef Shelley Boris of Fresh Company in Garrison, New York. Served family-style under the stars amid monumental sculpture, the dinner menu was inspired by the annual exhibitions and was followed by dessert and dancing.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The evening concluded with dessert, dancing, and a live musical performance by the Funk Junkies, a 13- piece band including a 5-piece horn section. Proceeds from the event benefit Storm King\u2019s exhibitions and programs. Notable attendees included\u00a0Pari Ehsan, Patrick Parrish, Alex Gilbert, Mark Rosen, and Chloe Wise.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
