The New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA)<\/a> is at it again with its unconventional\u00a0programming.\u00a0The non-profit arts organization announced this week the organization\u2019s first off-site exhibition,\u00a0Close Quarters<\/em><\/a>, featuring\u00a0eight NADA Member galleries\u00a0on Governors Island.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Open\u00a0July 1\u201329<\/span><\/span>,\u00a0artwork will be displayed across two floors of a historic House 403 on Governors Island, and will be on view every weekend in July,\u00a0Friday<\/span><\/span>\u00a0through\u00a0Sunday<\/span><\/span>,\u00a011am-5pm. Close Quarters will be an incredible opportunity for NADA members and attendees to show and interact with artists on display in each room.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The exhibition will feature artists\u00a0Michael Mahalchick\u00a0of\u00a0CANADA<\/a>, Asif Mian\u00a0of\u00a0False Flag,\u00a0Rainer Ganahl\u00a0of\u00a0Kai Matsumiya, Fabienne Lasserre\u00a0of\u00a0Safe Gallery, Jerry the Marble Faun\u00a0of\u00a0SITUATIONS<\/a>, Hayley Martell\u00a0and\u00a0Devin Morris of Signal, Johanna Unzueta\u00a0of\u00a0Proyectos Ultravioleta<\/a>,\u00a0and\u00a0Jeff Williams\u00a0of\u00a0Jack Hanley Gallery.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cPartnerships and public programming are essential to creating alternative platforms for NADA Members and their artists,\u201d said\u00a0Heather Hubbs, Executive Director of NADA. \u201cWe look forward to amplifying NADA\u2019s year-round programming by creating new opportunities to showcase contemporary art in fresh environments. It\u2019s a unique opportunity for NADA to organize a show on Governors Island, and we\u2019re excited to welcome visitors to this beautiful historic landmark, and to continue to collaborate with Governors Island in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Previously occupied by the Coast Guard,\u00a0House 403\u00a0served as the site of many of President Ronald Reagan\u2019s meetings with world leaders, including Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev.
