1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair<\/a>\u00a0announced the list of galleries participating in the 2018 edition of the show in New York.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The fair, in its 4th year, will return to Pioneer Works<\/a> in Brooklyn and will take place May 4, 2018 and run through May 6, 2018. 21 galleries from countries across Europe, North America, and Africa will present the works of over\u00a060 artists,<\/a>\u00a0from internationally acclaimed figures such as\u00a0Derrick Adams,\u00a0Yinka Shonibare MBE RA\u00a0and\u00a0Malick Sidib\u00e9,\u00a0as well as emerging talents such as\u00a0Kudzanai-Violet Hwami\u00a0and\u00a0Lebohang Kganye.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For the fourth year in a row,\u00a01-54 New York\u00a0will be accompanied by\u00a0FORUM, the fair\u2019s extensive talks and events programme,\u00a0curated by Omar Berrada. 1-54 FORUM will include artist talks, keynote lectures and panel discussions with international curators, artists and art professionals.
