Art Basel is upon us, and one of our favorite fairs to visit is NADA Miami<\/a>.\u00a0NADA Miami is the only major American art fair to be produced by a non-profit organization and is recognized as an alternative assembly of the world\u2019s youngest and strongest art galleries dealing with emerging contemporary art.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The 15th edition of the fair, to be held December 7\u201310, 2017 at Ice Palace Studios. You can purchase tickets here<\/a>. In the meantime, here are seven booths we’re looking forward to checking out.<\/p>\n

Creative Growth Art Center<\/a>, Booth 5.15<\/b><\/p>\n

Creative Growth Art Center will present a selection of works from established and emerging artists: Dan Miller, Terri Bowden, John Mullins, Susan Janow, Ed Walters, Yng Gee Zhou.\u00a0The booth will include Dan Miller’s vibrant layered drawings\/wooden sculptures and John Mullins’ hand-built boom box.<\/p>\n

Dawid Radziszewski<\/a>, Booth 3.04<\/b><\/p>\n

Dawid Radziszewski\u00a0<\/b>is one of the recipients of this year’s\u00a0International Gallery Prize<\/a>\u00a0and will present works by two Polish artists from different generations: Adam Rzepecki, whose most prominent works were created in the 70s and the 80s, and Tomasz Kowalski, one of the most successful young Polish painters.<\/p>\n

Southfirst Gallery<\/a>, Booth 8.06<\/b><\/p>\n

Southfirst Gallery will present recent drawings from film and video artist Joe Gibbons. Gibbons, a well-known experimental video artist and MIT film and media professor, recently served time at Rikers Island for an alleged bank robbery. This booth will present the 35 drawings he produced during his time in prison.<\/p>\n
