A recent study conducted by an “Arts in NYC” course at CUNY Guttman College revealed a huge gender discrepancy in New York City’s art world. Across 45 of the city’s top galleries, only 30% of their represented artists were female, while 70% were male.

In light of this shocking revelation, here are some exhibitions you can visit right now in New York City to celebrate the work of talented female artists. And what better way to celebrate and share their creativity than with an Instagram post?
