This summer, we’re launching our weekly #InstagramThis series to help you curate the artsy Instagram account of your dreams. And with Montreal’s 5th annual Mural Festival going on right now, we’ve decided to start off with a list of five street artworks to Instagram in Montreal. The festival ends on June 18, 2017, but these street artworks will stick around long afterward. Don’t forget to tag #ArtZealous so we can see your photos!

We’re amazed by the 3D effect of this artwork, and your followers will be, too. Head to the corner of Rue Sainte Famille and Rue Prince Arthur to capture this mural by artist Klone Yourself.

2. Mont-Royal Station

If you’re on the prowl for bold and vibrant street art, you have to check out the area around the Mont-Royal train station. We recommend heading to the station’s nearby bike rack — we love the collage-like mural above it.

3. 333 Mont-Royal Ave E

On the corner of Rue Drolet and Avenue du Mont-Royal E, you’ll find this gorgeous, larger-than-life mural. Titled “Body Mind and Spirit in an Era of Change,” it was painted by street and contemporary artist Gola Hundun. Its bright colors make the perfect addition to your summer Instagram!

You’re bound to get hungry while wandering Montreal in search of the city’s best street art, so kill two birds with one stone by visiting Chez Jose Cafe. It’s decorated with artwork by street artist TurtleCaps. If you’d rather take a quick coffee break, there’s a cat cafe right across the street.

5. 3562 Boulevard St-Laurent

Artist MEGGS painted this mural last year, and its tropical colors definitely scream summer. See it for yourself on Boulevard St-Laurent, between Rue Prince Arthur and Rue Milton. Plus, right across from it is another artwork by Felipe Pantone.
