Zo\u00eb Pawlak<\/a> is a contemporary, Canadian, artist and designer, working with private clients,\u00a0interior designers, &\u00a0select brands. If you’re shopping savvy, you\u00a0may see Zo\u00eb\u2019s work while puttering around Club Monaco<\/a>. Otherwise, she’s known primarily for her decade-long career as a painter and her fabulous rug collections. Zo\u00eb’s inspiration consists of interiors, product design, and fashion, things that all seem to coexist nicely with her dreamy pieces.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n We’re crushing on Zo\u00eb\u2019s portfolio\u00a0which has been featured in Martha Stewart Living<\/a>, Interior Design Magazine, Rue Magazine<\/a>, Design Milk<\/a>, and Domino Mag. \u00a0Zo\u00eb has also worked with The Property Brothers, Lululemon, and Playboy – \u00a0just to name a few!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n AZ spent a moment\u00a0with our Capricorn\u00a0friend to chat about her upcoming projects.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Art Zealous: Astrological sign?<\/strong><\/p>\n Zo\u00eb Pawlak:<\/strong> Capricorn. Both are slaying me.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n AZ: Drink order?<\/strong><\/p>\n ZP: <\/strong>Mocktails. I\u2019ve been sober for six months now and it\u2019s been awesome.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n AZ: First piece of art you ever collected?<\/strong><\/p>\n ZP: <\/strong>A Steven Spazuk. I have an awesome collection I have bought or traded over the years.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n AZ: What has been your favorite partnership to date?<\/strong><\/p>\n ZP: <\/strong>I loved the video I did with Lululemon because the theme was important to me. All the magazines that have supported me to date have been so incredible. The show that Jaime Derringer created for West Edge was so fun. My work was put alongside peers and colleagues I admire and now call my friends.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
