Karline Moeller might have an\u00a0impressive resum\u00e9 now, but at the rate things are going for her newest venture,\u00a0a\u00a0web-based\u00a0job-hunting and recruitment platform for the visual arts community called Art Frankly<\/a>, there’s\u00a0no doubt in our minds\u00a0that she’ll rack\u00a0up even more impressive accomplishments in the future.\u00a0Read on to learn about Karline’s whirlwind journey through the art world, her architecture crush and her love of pink champagne.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n AZ:\u00a0Hometown?<\/strong><\/p>\n KM:\u00a0<\/strong>Millerton, New York.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n AZ:\u00a0Drink of choice?<\/strong><\/p>\n KM:\u00a0<\/strong>A piscine! It\u2019s pink champagne on ice.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n AZ:\u00a0First job in the arts?<\/strong><\/p>\n KM:\u00a0<\/strong>After completing the internship program at Sotheby\u2019s<\/a> I was hired to work full time in the Contemporary Department. I was very young, in between universities and it was my \u201cgateway\u201d job, if you will, to the art world. Although it was too corporate for me at the age of 19, it was one of the best experiences professionally. In fact, I now call on my experience there often with Art Frankly.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n AZ: Favorite museum?<\/strong><\/p>\n KM:\u00a0<\/strong>Architecturally: the Beyeler Foundation<\/a> in Basel, Switzerland. Content wise: the Cy Twombly Gallery at the Menil Foundation<\/a> in Houston, Texas. I have an architecture crush on Renzo Piano.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
