El Museo del Barrio hosted its annual fundraising benefit, DISCO DE LOS MUERTOS on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016 at 8:30pm at the iconic Dune Studios, in their new downtown location. The sold out event hosted over 400 guests and raised over $25,000 dollars for the museum’s arts education and public programs.
This year’s event was inspired by our current exhibition, ANTONIO LOPEZ: Future Funk Fashion, which explores the life and legacy of the late famed fashion illustrator and artist Antonio Lopez, and his creative partner Juan Ramos.
