UrbanGlass Open Studios

Open Studios focus on concepts of blooming – in honor of the beautiful Spring season. As part of the event, there will be demonstrations, workshops, and activities connected to the theme and tours of the studios.

Demonstrations include glassblowing, flameworking – working with glass on a torch, and neon tube bending.

Free Bead Stringing and Silk-screening (All ages)

Major artists and designers have worked in the studios including Lindsey Adelman, Tauba Auerbach, Dale Chihuly, Maya Lin, Tony Oursler, Robert Rauschenberg, and Kiki Smith to name a few.
