The Standard, East Village Hosts Artist David Foote Live Painting Series

Fine artist David Foote will present his Peace Line live painting series in the garden at The Standard, East Village (25 Cooper Square) this weekend, Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19 from Noon – 6 pm. The previously scheduled event will now be a fundraiser to benefit victims’ families affected by the tragic massacre at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, FL
The weekend will feature a group of notable hosts including Crystal Moselle, Poppy King, Peter Davis and Timo Weiland.
“The Peace Line live painting series was conceived as a way to support and promote peace and community development. After the heartbreaking and tragic events that took place at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, I feel that its our duty to support the victims’ families affected by this attack.” Foote said. “A percentage of the proceeds from The Peace Line Series, as well as other works, will be donated to help pay for the needs of the victims’ families. As a community we will continue to show that we will not succumb to fear and darkness but instead shine brighter than ever together.”
Foote will be live painting in his signature style at this unique installation that will feature the finished canvases suspended on clotheslines with classic wood pins all across the garden as guests will be able to purchase the one of a kind paintings for a special price.
The Peace Line Paintings are $350.
