Queens International 2016 at the Queens Museum

A tradition since 2001, the Queens International is a biannual exhibition of artists living and/or working in Queens, which aims to highlight and contextualize the artistic vibrancy of the borough through contemporary cultural productions in all media. Featured works are a combination of existing and commissioned projects that have been fostered by, and are responsive to, the rapidly globalizing world—ongoing cultural phenomena that the diverse locale of Queens embodies.
