Pablo Picasso “La Bateau-Lavoir” at D’Agostino & Fiore Gallery

D’Agostino & Fiore is please to present a selection of works by Pablo Picasso made between 1904 and 1920.

One of the most influential artists of the twentieth century, Picasso’s oeuvre encompasses nearly twenty thousand artworks, transcending all attempts at categorization and historicity.

On view are works made during Picasso’s stay at, Le Bateau-Lavoir, a dilapidated studio building in Montmartre. In company of these works will be innumerous sources that Picasso consumed and allowed to infiltrate his work, choosing these components to make more fully present the artist’s formal ingenuities.
