New York Studio School

The New York Studio School Alumni Association invites you to attend the opening reception of its Annual Exhibition on July 21, from 6PM-9PM at the New York Studio School (NYSS) located at 8 W. 8th St, New York, NY.

Lesley Heller of Lesley Heller Workspace, Andy Arnot of Tibor de Nagy Gallery, Miles Manning of Elizabeth Harris Gallery and Larry Greenberg of Studio 10, were asked to select work from 157 NYSS alumni. 60 pieces were selected for the exhibition including work from Herne Pardee, Elisa Jensen, Judy Hoffman, Peter Neal, Stephan Hicks, Amanda Church, among others. There will also be a special contribution by distinguished alumnus Christopher Wool.These will be available for viewing daily from 10:00am – 6:00pm.

As part of the Annual Exhibition, the Mercedes Matter/ Ambassador Middendorf Purchase Award will be chosen by a panel of judges comprised of Phong Bui (The Brooklyn Rail), Hrag Vartanian (Hyperalleric), Paul Laster (Time Out New York) and Paddy Johnson (Art F City).
