EL MUSEO DEL BARRIO PRESENTS ANNUAL DIA DE LOS MUERTOS FUNDRAISER

El Museo del Barrio presents:
DISCO DE LOS MUERTOS

Join El Museo del Barrio as we host our annual Día de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) arts education fundraiser on Wednesday, October 19,2016 from8:30-11:30pm at the iconic Dune Studios’ new downtown location.

This year’s event will be inspired by our current exhibition, ANTONIO LOPEZ: Future Funk Fashion, which explores the life and legacy of the late famed fashion illustrator and artist Antonio Lopez, and his creative partner Juan Ramos, who worked in New York and Paris throughout the late 1960s, 70s and early 80s.

Art installation by Hector Madera, projections by Lionel Cruet & an artist performance by former El Museo Artist in Residence Ayana Evans. Mexican culinary treats by Tacoma, specialty Tequila Don Julio 70 Cocktails provided by Tequila Don Julio, wine provided by KIM CRAWFORD and make-up provided by M·A·C Cosmetics. 

The after party will take place in Happy Endings, (302 Broome St. NYC).
