Erik Nieminen x Artsy “Paradise” Exhibit

Emerging artist Erik Nieminen will debut his first exhibit in New York City this June. Montreal-based and recent winner of the 9th Annual BOMBAY SAPPHIRE Artisan Series, Erik is now working with Bombay Sapphire and acclaimed global arts platform, Artsy, to construct a groundbreaking public exhibit. “Paradise” will be on view at the galleries at High Line Nine on Thursday, June 13th – Thursday, June 27th from 10am-6pm daily.

The Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series is an annual arts competition to uncover emerging artists across North America and provide them with a national platform to showcase their work. For the 9th Annual Series Finale that took place in Miami this past December, actress Tessa Thompson crowned Erik as the Grand Prize Winner. The exhibit will reveal Erik’s latest work and encompass a paradisal imagery where architecture and natural spaces coexist. Featuring seven oil-on-linen paintings, Erik and Artsy’s “Paradise” will curate an imaginative utopia, where trees, plants, and animals meet artificial natural spaces, such as the Montreal Biodome near his studio.
