Discussion Panel with Artist LINA PUERTA: Food Justice and Diverse Farming Ecosystem

Discussion online Panel with Lina Puerta who is currently in residency at KODA and a former NYSCA/NYFA artist Fellow.

 

The event will highlight the importance of community, living in greater harmony with the cycles of nature, and how we can adapt our way of life to be more sustainable. The participants will be invited to reflect upon how nature and food production can be a source of building community identity.

 

Lunchtime online panel discussion led by Jungwon Kim, with farmer & community activist Karen Washington and artist Lina Puerta. On the importance of community, living in greater harmony with the cycles of nature, and how we can adapt our way of life to be more sustainable. Organized by KODA, in partnership with New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA), the Rainforest Alliance, and funded in part by Humanities NY.
