Diane Arbus, Nan Goldin, Peter Hujar at Matthew Marks Gallery

Matthew Marks is pleased to announce Diane Arbus, Nan Goldin, Peter Hujar, the next exhibition in his gallery at 1062 North Orange Grove.

Featuring twenty-two prints spanning sixty years, the exhibition presents work by three photographers who each had a unique vision of the world. Although Arbus, Goldin, and Hujar often focused their cameras on similar subjects, they usually had very different relationships to those subjects, and distinct ways of photographing them. This exhibition, the first to concentrate on the three artists’ work, is an opportunity to consider their similarities and dissimilarities.
