Chelsea Gallery Walk

27 of Chelsea’s most dynamic and prestigious art galleries will keep their doors open late to welcome the public. Visitors will have the chance to engage with summer group shows and solo artist surveys currently on view and free to the public.

Exhibitions will feature modern and contemporary art in every medium, including painting, sculpture, photography, large-scale installation, drawing, and video, created by leading international artists including Milton Avery, Romare Bearden, Lynda Benglis, Helen Frankenthaler, Nan Goldin, Edward Hopper, Peter Hujar, Franz Kline, Jacob Lawrence, Sol LeWitt, Robert Mapplethorpe, Gordon Matta-Clark, Duane Michals, William Pope.L, Mickalene Thomas, David Wojnarowicz, among many more.

Gallery Walk visitors can enter to win a tote bag full of art books and exhibition catalogues by posting photos of their experience on Instagram with the hashtag #ADAAChelseaGalleryWalk. A winner will be selected from those who visit and post from the most ADAA galleries during the event. To be eligible, photos must be posted by 12 noon on July 19.
