Cat Art Show 3: The Sequel Returns Again

This year’s exhibition will feature over 140 works by 100 renowned and emerging international artists including Mark Ryden, Ellen Won Unwerth, Brandon Boyd, C215, Edel Rodriguez, Tasya Van Ree, and many more. Beneficiaries of the exhibition will include The Ian Somerhalder Foundation and Kitten Rescue LA.

President Trump, Kanye West and Taylor Swift all make an appearance in the works by artists from the US, Cuba, Japan, Russia, Serbia, and the UK who have depicted a variety of cat breeds ranging from Maine Coons to Russian Blues, Siameses and Tabbies across a range of media including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, collage and embroidery. The works continue the legacy of renowned artists, aka “huge cat guys of the art world” such as Pierre Bonnard, Salvador Dalí, Wassily Kandinsky, Gustav Klimt, Henri Matisse, Georgia O’Keeffe, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol.

The Opening Night party will take place on Thursday, June 14 from 6-11PM.
