Brooklyn Children’s Book Fair

The Brooklyn Museum will host its tenth annual Brooklyn Children’s Book Fair on Saturday, November 12, from 12 to 4 pm. This year’s fair features more than fifty Brooklyn-based authors and illustrators and includes a selection of storybooks, picture books, graphic novels, and both fiction and nonfiction books for young children to young adults. The program is free, and Museum admission is a suggested donation.

Highlights of the Children’s Book Fair include a series of author readings, illustrator demonstrations, and hands-on art-making activities with Brooklyn illustrators in the Museum’s Martha A. and Robert S. Rubin Pavilion. The tenth anniversary features two new art-making activities: a bookmaking activity and a fashion-inspired coloring session.
