A Year with Children 2017 showcases the imaginative artwork of second through sixth grade students participating in the Guggenheim Museum’s Learning Through Art (LTA) artist-in-residence program. Founded in 1970, LTA partners teaching artists with classroom educators in each of the city’s five boroughs to design collaborative projects that explore art and ideas related to the classroom curriculum. The program encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and ongoing collaborative investigation.
Tickets are $150 for adults and $75 for children. Proceeds benefit the exhibition of student work and the LTA program.
