68th Annual Parsons Benefit and Fashion Show

The New School is pleased to announce the 2016 Parsons Benefit, a collaboration between Parsons School of Design and the College of Performing Arts, honoring Beth Rudin DeWoody (BA Liberal Arts ’75), Arianna Huffington, Donna Karan (BFA Fashion Design ’87), and Sarah Jessica Parker and hosted by Andy Cohen. Introducing the next generation of fashion designers and performing artists, the 68th annual Parsons Benefit will be held Monday, May 23, 2016, at Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers. Funds raised at the event support scholarships to The New School for students who would otherwise be unable to attend the university.

The benefit, now in its 68th year, has honored fashion innovators including Jason Wu, Hugo Boss, Reed Krakoff, Francisco Costa, Diane von Furstenberg, Marc Jacobs, and LVMH ● Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton. The event will include a runway show of select collections by graduating Parsons students and performances from students from the College of Performing Arts.
