2019 Spring Party to benefit Aperture at The Times Square EDITION

Support Aperture at the annual Spring Party, celebrating the forthcoming publication Ethan James Green: Young New York, taking place at The Times Square EDITION. Ethan James Green’s first monograph presents a series of striking black-and-white portraits of the city’s queer scene-makers, and depicts a gloriously diverse cast of models, artists, designers, nightlife icons, and gender binary–flouting muses of the fashion world and beyond. Celebrated for his photography in Vanity Fair, Vogue, and Another Man, Green photographed his close friends and community in the Lower East Side for over three years, and his humanist approach, inspired by Diane Arbus and August Sander, transcends the trends of the moment. Event proceeds help to carry out the organization’s mission of publishing new work on photography, touring exhibitions, and producing educational programming.
