May 15th

Event: Friends of the High Line Spring Gala / Tickets

The evening will begin with cocktails at Skylight Modern at 6:30 pm, located centrally between the High Line and The Waterfront, former train depot turned infamous Tunnel nightclub, where dinner will be held at 8 pm.

May 16th

Event: UrbanGlass Gala and Auction / Tickets

Begin with cocktails and a silent auction in the beautiful Agnes Varis Art Center at 6:30 pm, followed by a seated dinner and live auction. To conclude, guests will move up to the third floor, 17,000 square foot glass studios to enjoy the After Party, with desserts, dancing and a new performance, Woman Up, by Deborah Czeresko and a team of glassblowers.

May 17th

Event: American Federation of the Arts Spring Luncheon / Tickets

Reception starts at noon, followed by lunch at 12:30 and conversation with Jeff Koons at 1 pm. Internationally recognized artist Jeff Koons is widely known for his iconic sculptures Rabbit and Balloon Dog as well as his monumental floral works Puppy and Split-Rocker. Working with everyday objects, his work revolves around themes of self-acceptance and transcendence.

May 18th

Opening: Pecha Kucha NYC Design Week / Tickets

From May 19th – 22nd, Sight Unseen OFFSITE will continue its reputation as a top New York cultural attraction and the most important American platform for independent design — pared back to just 25 participants, the show will bring together an elevated, tightly curated edit of some of the most sophisticated brands and studios in contemporary design.

Third Man Books Showcase at National Sawdust / Tickets

Opening: “Among Friends” by Robert Rauschenberg at MoMA

Robert Rauschenberg: Among Friends, the first 21st-century retrospective of the artist, presents work from six decades of his widely celebrated career in fresh ways, bringing together over 250 paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, photographs, and sound and video recordings. Acclaimed artist and filmmaker Charles Atlas is collaborating on the exhibition’s design to foreground Rauschenberg’s work with dance and performance.
