Event: Young Patron Circle of American Friends of the Louvre: The Astronomer’s Ball / Tickets

This year’s American Friends of the Louvre Young Patrons Circle Gala will celebrate Johannes Vermeer’s masterpiece The Astronomer. This exquisite work is part of the Louvre’s current exhibition Vermeer and the Masters of Genre Painting, which will travel to the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. this fall. Dress code: Black tie and celestial attire.

Event: Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture Awards Dinner at Plaza Hotel / Tickets

Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture, one of the preeminent artist residencies worldwide, will hold its 46th annual Awards Dinner at the Plaza Hotel. Three awards will be presented: the Skowhegan Medal for Painting, to artist Jack Whitten; the Skowhegan Governors’ Award for Outstanding Service to Artists, to The Studio Museum in Harlem and to William T. Williams; and the Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney Award for Outstanding Patronage of the Arts, to the Pollock-Krasner Foundation and its Chairman & CEO Charles C. Bergman. Dress code: Dress for Spring!

Event: Young Folk Benefit Party / Tickets

Young Folk is hosting an annual benefit party Thursday, April 27 from 8:30 PM to 12 AM at Madam X. Join us for drinks, music by DJ James Mulry, and visuals “The Arena” by Jennifer Reiland. The event will raise money to support Young Folk and the American Folk Art Museum.

Event: ProjectArts Presents: My Kid Could Do That Evening Benefit / Tickets
