Obscuring Objects presents two sets of photographs sharing a language that uses incongruous juxtapositions of images and objects; irreverent interventions on appropriated images of female icons; and self-portraits masked to suggest a tenuous, unstable sense of self. Some eggs, some flowers with common associations, helping to stage an absurdist comedy in the anxious everyday.
